Thank you to Alex and his staff (waitresses, instructors...) for welcoming us to this magnificent sanctuary! A friendly place where our children had a great time! Thanks to the chef who delighted us and for the little attentions for our children. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. We were amazed both in the water and on land (Emerald Sea, the bays...). The kitesurfing initiation was great, Alex's team manages everything very well, thank you Nono and Simon!

👤 Alex – Lodge Manager & Level 3 IKO Instructor

A Level 3 IKO instructor and manager of the lodge and nautical center, Alex, originally from Toulouse, has over 20 years of experience in kitesurfing. A pioneer of wingfoil in Madagascar, and passionate about surfing, paddle foil and windsurfing, he has been living in Sakalava Bay for more than 15 years, with an exceptional knowledge of the local spots.

👤 Thierry – Founder of Ocean Lodge & J+S Instructor

Founder of Ocean Lodge and J+S instructor, Thierry, originally from Switzerland, is passionate about watersports (sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and wingfoil). He created Ocean Lodge in 2018 to share this passion in the unique setting of Sakalava Bay.

👤 The Instructors & Nautical Assistants Team

Nono, Vince, Félicien, Brice and Moustapha make up the Ocean Lodge water sports team, with three certified IKO instructors and two experienced assistants, all trained in kitesurfing, windsurfing and wingfoil, for all levels.
