Q: Can we choose what we’d like to eat?

Yes. There are two different menus available at each sitting, for lunch and dinner.

Q: Are there any opening hours?

No. You eat when you get out of the water. The restaurant works around your sessions.

Q: Can people from outside eat at your place?

Yes, by booking in advance. Priority is given to guests staying at the Lodge.

Q: Are meals included in the stay?

Yes, half-board or full board, depending on your package. Full board is automatically included in the eco chalets.

The Ocean Lodge restaurant serves simple, carefully prepared home-cooked food, made using fresh, locally sourced produce. All this is complemented by desserts crafted on the premises by our pastry chef.

Our restaurant and lounge area is situated right on the beach, offering unobstructed, breathtaking views of the stunning Sakalava Bay, near Diego-Suarez.

Enjoy a peaceful setting, bathed in natural light, ideal for lunch in the sunshine between sessions or an intimate dinner at sunset.

Home-cooked food, from the market to the plate

Every day, we create two set menus to choose from, for lunch and dinner, based on what the market and the fishermen have brought in that morning: fresh fish, lagoon crab, prawns, zebu beef and Madagascan specialities.

Everything is homemade, including the desserts. Our menu showcases seafood of the utmost freshness and the rich flavours of Madagascar.

Smooth organisation

Eat at your own pace, between sessions.

Here, there are no fixed meal times. You eat according to your sessions, the tides and your lessons. If you come back from the water at 3 pm, your meal will be ready for you at 3 pm.

Visitors from outside the lodge are welcome by prior booking: this enables us to guarantee you a table and a high standard of service.

All our holidays are sold with a meal plan: half-board or full board. You don’t have to organise a thing, and you can make the most of your days on the water and your moments of relaxation.
